What bow used for 1st kill?

Borrowed unamed recurve
Early 90's, I was probably 13.
Spike
My dad stood in a stand behind me all night to film me shoot my fist deer, it got to the end of shooting light and he turned around and sat down just as a spike walked in. I drew and shot and he turned around and said " what was that?". It all happened in abot 20 seconds and he missed the whole thing.

Good old Jennings Forked Lightning. 1992 at 14 years old a spike buck in the Pa late Archery/Flinlock season. I remember it was the first day of the late season about 2 degrees out and he and another buck came running by me. One buck was a dandy for Pa and I had my pin on him and as I released the arrow the spike went for the pass on the big buck and I ended up double lunging the spike. I still rember only waiting 15 min. To start trailing him and the blood was already frozen in the leaves.

PSE Strato Flite -1989
Pendulum sight ( Keller maybe)

3 pointer eating pin oak acorns. 10 minutes before I shot him a had a doe wander aimlessly ( literally) through the area that I was hunting. She had a plastic jack-o-lantern stuckon her head and was very confused as she stumbled past. No lie. The strangest thing I've encountered while deer hunting.
Had a doe get one of my sons jack-o'-lanterns stuck on her head last Fall. I thought I was going to have to shoot her but she rolled around and got it off.
