What do you do with all those antlers...

Even if you're not artistically inclined yourself, you probably know someone who is. Maybe a retired hunter with a workshop in his garage. I know a guy who finds a bunch of moose sheds, which he makes into award and retirement plaques. Lamps, knife scales, cabin decor, etc are all ways to turn a pile of headgear into money.

You’re looking at all of mine (except for one shed). 11 seasons and I only have the two skulls. Bowhunting is hard.
11 years. 13 deer. 4 "bucks" (a 6, a 4, and 2 accidentals: spike and button).

I'm in the "What antlers?" camp. To a fault I don't even look to see what's going on by the ears (thus the accidents). I am conditioned to have no expectation to see racks....cause I don't.

Likewise. 3 bucks, one was a button, shot by accident in my first season. Thought he was a doe and didn’t hardly have any buttons to speak of.
I don’t look at the rack until I’ve confirmed the body. To me, any big body buck gets a second glance, and anything mature (3.5+) with at least 6 points is getting my bow off the hook. There are a couple big bodies roaming around with average racks, but they’re all seemingly 4YO+ so I’m keeping my eyes peeled for their shoulders and necks and bellies long before their racks.
