Why your user name?

Got the nickname ziggy in middle school. Hardly anybody calls me that now. When I first signed up for SH I couldn't think of a cool name like nutterbuster or red beard so I went with the old nickname. Something happened a week after signing up and it would not let me sign back in. Tried contacting administrator and never got a reply. So I just re-register, as sziggy2.0.

Ziggy is way cooler than NutterBuster. Makes me wanna put on my red shoes and dance the blues. ;)

Last name = Schelling (sK-ell-ing)
Buddies in high school always called me Skell.
Nobody has since...but it sure has come in handy as a forum handle.

My name was given to my by a super cool dude who was a big fan of Da Farm News Report. There's a guy in Da Farm News Report by the name of Country Joe McDonald. My name is Joe, so naturally he always referred to me as "Country Joe". The name is here to stay after many years. You can find some people still using the classic "Country Joe" name while others use the refined and shortened version..."Country".

When I worked in the chem plants and refineries I used to write denots on all my tools. Tim is a pretty common name so I came up with this instead. Although nobody ever called me denots, everybody just called me by my last name. If you wondering how I came up with it. Well it's a secret.

Old gamer tag that I've had for ~20 years, any other name just doesn't feel right

Probably had something to do with "denots I'mma leave on yo head if you touch my tools with your grubby booger hooks. " ;)

Well.....it's my name. The number 916 comes from Bill (short for William, also my first name) Dalton who was a second generation surveyor in Greenville. His dad started the company back when Shoeless joe (also from Greenville) was still in the Major Leagues. Mr. Dalton trained damn near every one of the older generation of surveyors in this area and I work for him up until his death. I always got treated like royalty when I went to another office looking for a plat or with a question so I further added to it by putting Mr. Dalton's registration number after my name in my email address. Now I continue the 916 addendum as a tribute to Mr. Dalton. he was a helluva man.

Newhunter1 comes from when I first picked up a bow to start hunting at 33 years old. No one to teach me and I learned on the fly...that's why saddle hunting appeals to me. Learning on the fly as long as I don't "fly." I just turned 50...so 17 years of loving the hunting bug. Please don't ask how much money I've spent. Anyway, Bowsite.com and Archerytalk.com is where I spent hours on in my first years of hunting. Newhunter1 is me always learning and knowing that I do not know everything and can always be taught a new trick.
