I know this topic has been hit on from all directions, what are the thoughts of the group regarding climbing and base. I like the run and gun package from Wild Edge and my Muddy Pros and aider.

I agree with g2 . I like the Wild Edge and my lonewolf sticks but now I'm also going to buy Muddy pro sticks. I've spent a bunch so far on my new saddle and ropeman and climbing stuff. Oh hell it's only money and the more new things I see the more I need.

I agree with Apex7. I’m getting Dan’s sticks if I get a chance even if I don’t plan on using them...you never know... haha

I've had the hand climber in my garage for over a year and never tried it on a hunt. I'm going to give it a whirl tomorrow.

I sold my climber. Noisy and clunky and heavy.
Now I want to sell my aero hunter. Heavier than the Kestrel but okay when adjusted right.
I do have to give WE stepps another try after this post. Sticks just seems simpler, faster and less fiddly.
The are bulkier but no heavier. Tied to a pack properly like Dave T does it does not seem like a problem to carry.
I wish the owner of WE stepps all the best but so far they are not for me but I will give a good try preseason in 2018

Also, anybody have an idea where I can buy just the seat portion for an XOP hand climber? Sold out on the website right now. Just wait I'd guess?
