Willing to use multiple sticks if you can eliminate having to retrieve your bow and rope?

Give up SRT/DDRT/2TC/1Stick/etc if you can eliminate gear retrieval and rappel line retrieval?

I think u would be regressing...what are ur concerns again?..
pull up rope uncomfortable?...change rope

What's more aggravating...pulling down a rappel rope and packing up ropes or securing rope/strap to the sticks, stacking sticks and attaching sticks?....for me stuffing ropes more better than packing sticks

I didn't have that exact pack but I splurged and had a fancy pack and yeah...it makes the extra weight "ride" better but 6-8 pounds is still 6-8 pounds and if u walk a lot like I do u gonna feel it at the end of the day regardless of how nice/expensive the pack is

I'd also rather have my bow get tangled up in branches while its on the end of a rope vs having it get tangled while it's strapped to my back....u gonna have to deal with those limbs
regardless of how u getting the bow up

Also maybe experiment with where u attach ur bow pull up rope to the bow itself and find the spot with the best balance point....I find hooking to the d loop allows for the best control/maneuverable but sometimes hook to top cam if I gotta pull it thru thick branches and a double capture quiver if u haven't got that already

I climb with everything 1st trip bowhunting,1 stick. Use a 5.11 slingpak and a bow sling with a magnet that lets me shoot with it still on the bow.

I hate climbing with a pack or a bino pack. I can handle the bulk of a turkey vest though. That, and I imagine that a pack would make things worse in a fall, so I always haul it up after me. Pack goes on the end of my rappel rope, weapon goes on a dog leash on my MOLLE.
