I haven't tried a rope mod with them yet. All I can say is that they are VERY small compared to the lone wolf versa buttons. I think I like the versa buttons better.

I have one on my platform and use a buckle/strap. Nice for that, not sure about for rope. I could try one of my ropes on it if ya like.

I was just wondering if it was worth it to mod my old Big Game X sticks. They are two step short sticks with steps on both sides. I just don't love the strap/buckle setup.

I could just plan to get a set of Muddys instead of chasing my tail

Depends on their weight. I wouldn't mod anything that was heavy, you will just end up buying something lighter at another date.

Have you looked at the modified Hawk Helium that DaveT did up? They look like muddy pro and Dave says they are lighter than the muddy pro.

I have both, they are, and I would definitely go with the heliums.
