If you are climbing a suitable tree they look fine for pack, but I see this scratching my bow, being noisy, and possibly falling at the worst moments.

They appear to work well as long as you have limbs.

Seems like a good theory till you don't have branches where you want them. I'm not going to bring these and the bow/pack hangar that I use already just in case.

Looks like a good option when your looking for something to throw at that annoying squirrel who keeps barking at you.
It's not always with me on every hunt but i will sometimes take a slingshot and a handful of stones if I'm in an area with lots of acorns

Same here! Them long sits get a little....long haha!
