I think they are going to lose out on some sales, if that is the case. I would be interested in trying the new version, but I don't want to pay for all of the extra accessories that I already have. Bummer...

Looks like they are starting to get some inventory according to the IG. I hope this drops soon. I was planning on picking up a Yarak first thing in the morning on Sept 1st, but it looks like the first come, first serve has turned into a lotto.
The best thing about the Trophy Line just might be the fact it’s actually obtainable. I like the look. Wish they had some more info out. Sizes, made in the USA, etc.

I still have the OG Kestrel on order and it’s due to ship on Sept 30th. I’ll likely pick up the TL as well and use both, sell whichever I’m less crazy about. The TL looks simple. That’s very appealing. I’m not so much an ounce counter when it comes to minimalist gear as I am a “simplicity, ruggedness, reliability” type guy. I’ll take a couple more ounces if it means the product is gonna last a couple more years. Like many of you, I need my hard earned dollars to stretch. That’s partially what’s kept me away from the new Flex. I just don’t see the durability that the OG Kestrel has. The TL looks like it’s simplistic approach may be a winner. Basically I’m waiting to hear what Nutterbuster has to say about it...

I like the idea of sewn friction knots a lot. As far as the bridge, I would hazard to guess that it will most likely be webbing, like the original trophyline.

You're already buying lots of webbing to make the saddle. Why not use it for the bridge too?
Their FB page shows someone hanging in one and it's a webbing bridge

For the guys wanting to see it "on a butt" and wondering what type of bridge. This is from their FB page

Where the skys are so blue!
From what I can tell that saddle looks similar to most other saddles on the market.
Sure it does. Only so many ways you can make a butt-sling. Fixed leg loops and the bridge/belt combo are a pretty different approach though. There isn't that much different between a kite, kestrel, and/or mantis.

And they were the first commercial "hammock" style saddle(more than just straps)...every other saddle is really a rendition of the TL to some extent...

Yep. Saying the TL looks like every other saddle is like saying the great grandfather in the room looks just like his 17 descendants!
