New YouTube channel

Dang... just watched her most recent video and I’m impressed. That video alone earns a subscribe from me.
 
Gunna have to check this channel out. I am always pulling for female presence, but the last “huntress” I stumbled upon made me want to vomit. She’s got a popular Mantis video out. That’s all I will divulge of her.

This is crazy, she popped up in my recommended videos, and I was like I don't need this crap in my life. Another "huntress" getting all the old creepy guys to subscribe.... but I had to check it out since it said public land and there was a buck. Sure there was a ton of talking that I skipped over, but I do that on any video that's 30 min long. She had tons of deer encounters and good quality video, I definitely hit subscribe. I'm sad that she's already getting the comments on the video about how she's the kind of girl they're looking for and what not. It's just cool to see a girl go out there on her own and get it done, usually it's the boyfriend/husband that's leading the show and she's along to be the pretty face.

This is a big topic, but for starters I suggest you experiment with browsing in Private/Incognito mode by default for sites you don't have a relationship with. Just want to check out her vids without Youtube adding it to their database of what they think you like? Open YouTube in private mode and watch there.

Yeah, I don't want to derail this thread too much but, I used to be a lot more diligent about that but, I have found myself "giving in" and being less diligent more and more recently.

Back to the original topic, I haven't watched any of her videos yet but, it awesome to see a young lady not only hunting but public land hunting. Having more women in hunting can only help the image of the sport.

And/or turn your YT History/Suggestions off in your preferences.
 
Thats crazy, I also stumbled onto her channel last night while browsing self filming hunt related videos. Its good to see younger woman in the sport. She knowledgeable and a true outdoorswoman really showed when the first thing she was concerned about after the adrenaline rush was shot placement and finding her buck. I browsed through a few of her other videos as well, her channel definitely has potential.

As long as that phones within ear shot someone's listening. My wife and i experiment with it all the time..... Just the other night we started talking about going snorkeling in Colorado and now i have Co tourist ads and flipper company ads......time before that we talked about buying cat food even thou we don't have 1 and cat food ads galore. If you want privacy throw that phone away

She too was suggested to me a day or two ago. Decent content, could use some more editing and trimming of footage. I hope she does well and sticks to the sport and doesnt fall into the temptation of sexualizing the "huntress" like so many others have done.

The Youtube algorithm is so freaky and complex. I have a buddy who is a big youtuber and he has shared some of its secrets with me. It is crazy what they have the ability to do by the information we have given them and by what they can choose to show us. They can use the algorithm to confirm your bias and continue showing you content you like, or if Youtube deems your views as unworthy, they can try to slowly show you content in the other direction to bring you to a different view point. Youtube doesn't cost money, but it isn't free. There is a transaction of information and thought influence.

It is very interesting in this situation because she has been around a while and then just in a matter of days, the Youtube gods (algorithm) decided to elevate her and share her content with all of us with similar viewing history.
