My predator platform is finally being delivered today, ordered 9/11. What are some opinions on painting this close to the rut, for me it’s about 3 weeks away. Is it too risky? Should I just wait until my season is over?

I'm painting mine this weekend. Not concerned. If they are smelling it, they are smelling me. And my scent will probably be more concerning to them than any lingering paint fumes ;)

Oh heck, just hit it with some spray paint to knock the shine off. Those sponge paint jobs are cool, but those guys have way more time on their hands than I do. I just used flat green.

While all the paint jobs are cool, for me I need silence. Vet tape kills 2 birds with 1 stone.

That was my plan, I was just concerned about the scent of it, but I’m sure it will be fine
