Ok, so I've got the bolt mod but will probably fill in holes with jb weld and go the hose clamp option, but the post that you see is easiest for me instead of rigging up support lines beneath the platform. The OCB buckle is very easy to manipulate at this position and obviously gets extremely tight. The standoff rotates so the post is down while climbing. Hope you all like it and sorry if this is a complete repeat of other ingenuity.

This set up is a lot less fiddle factor, super solid, quiet, and allowed me to really lean out and take this buck yesterday.

That looks like mine. I bought it "pre-modded." Do you see any issue with moving the versa button lower on the post? Was thinking of moving mine down so I can put two or three steps on the strap. I use a ratchet strap with sewn ends and can get it really solid.

No, any position on the post seems to work well I just haven't bothered to cut it down yet. I think a lower strap with some squirrel steps would be sweet!

Where did you get the post and bracket that bolts to the platform. I would like to get this setup

I could come up with the other stuff. What do you want for another one of those brackets?

I think I bought it from onlinemetals.com

Sure looks like it would be solid once setup. Interested to see if that bracket would be an appropriate one for the old square LWHC as well.

That looks great! Were you able to cam it to the tree?

It is just 1 inch aluminum tube with a lone wolf standoff, and I bolted it on with another piece of aluminum bracket and grade 8 bolts
Think we're trying to figure out what you used for the connection between the tube and the LWHC...

Damn nice buck also. Does the post fold down?

You fabricated the parts to connect the post to the platform? Looks good.
Yeah I just used a dremel with a cut off wheel to get threw brackets to fit inside the skelotonized portions of the platform and fine tuned it with a file until it all fit tight. Then drilled and tightened it down with the bolts.

I attempted something very similar to yours before last season, just not as professional and with a cam buckle strap. I'm sure the ocb makes a world of difference. Well done
