Hey guys I broke down and bought me an Aero Hunter Evo. today. Anyone have suggestions on tricks, storage, etc. that I need to know? I have been hunting out of a tree saddle for years, but I wanted to try something new.

I bought an aero a year ago. I have it dialed in for comfort now and since I got ernies platform I tend to lean back in my saddle which is way easier on the knees. It does take time to get it set perfect for each individual. I would consider buying a platform from Ernie.
I wear my saddle in to the tree and use the linemans belt like suspenders to hold it in place while walking in

I also use a back strap attached to my bridge if I want extra comfort. The guys on this forum have me considering a sit drag rock harness set up for next year. I have the rock harness and sit drag but have to do the set up.

Good advice. Is anyone out there setting up suspenders for the aero Hunter, or does the waist belt do an adequate job of keeping the harness up when walking in?

The waist belt does work ok but I also put my bridge up over my head. This keeps everything from falling down.

I always wear my saddle in. I use just the waist belt on the aero and I've had no problems with it. Generally I barely notice the saddle is there.

This was my third season using the aero hunter (although I mixed in some custom saddles a lot this year too). I have used my tree saddle exactly 1 time since I bought the aero hunter. The biggest difference is that the aero hunter is adjustable. Once dialed in, I can make small adjustments on the leg straps from day to day as my layering changes to stay comfortable. I don't think you'll regret your purchase. Personally, I can't imagine buying a used tree saddle at this point for the prices they are going for, when you can get a brand new aero hunter.

After you get the adjustments dialed in, the first thing you have to do is quiet down the metal. This is my only real complaint about this saddle. I have camoform wrapped all around the paws and the leg buckles. I find the leg buckle tends to want to hit my bow when I carry after I need to take the camo form off to adjust.

I love the waist belt portion of this saddle, I think it is the safest lineman's belt on the market.

I'm finally getting the evo dialed in as well. One thing @redsquirrel noted in a previous thread that really helped me... Sometimes a strap adjustment only needs to be 1/4 or 1/2 inch. I was making longer adjustments at first and really fought it. Also tether height and bridge length are user specific. You gotta find what works for you.

Agreed. Those of us with round abs need suspenders. Or a linemans belt over our necks.

I'm part of the round abs group myself so I'm going to be using the lineman's over my neck as well! I'm really happy with my Aero Hunter Evolution I think it is great and love using it!
