Soooo........ let me back up and take a critical look at how I'm progressing compared to Lars. I'm way, way slower, I'm not nearly as accurate, he has a better grasp of the english language than I do, I can't shoot unless I go through my 25 point check list on form and technique before each shot, I need to be standing on solid ground with my feet shoulder width apart. According to my calculations I should be up to standard and ready to hunt sometime in 2025, or never. Amazing mastery of the bow and arrow. I'd be more impressed if he could shoot an arrow through that dang ring.

Sounds like you're making it way more work than it needs to be. Just go out and shoot and have fun! Remember the thing you are trying to do is have the arrow go where you're looking. Quit overthinking it and just work on concentrating on where you want the arrow to hit. That's it! All you really need to do is concentrate on where you want the arrow to impact the target and shoot. Pretend your eyes are casting a lazer beam to a spot on the target. Let it burn a hole in the target while you shoot the bow. Soon your arrow will start to meet that lazer beam at the target.

I'm actually not doing that bad, thanks to your help and other trad guys who have chimed in and assisted not only me but a bunch of other guys who are taking the leap into traditional archery. I honestly wouldn't be as far along as I am without all ya'lls input. So more accurately, I feel ready to turkey hunt with my bow. I'm good to 15yds. but would prefer to get one in my lap so I could wring it's neck.

The government should make these "assault bows" illegal because they shoot so fast. :D This video is great. Thanks.
There is about to be a left handed bow shortage for sale. :D

Who needs a saddle or stand was my thoughts. Just run at em, jump off a tree do a flip and stick 3 in him before he even knows what hit em.
