I agree...it's very easy for me to spot black straps on hang ons, and stack steps wrapped around a tree trunk from aways off. It's just too dark for my liking. I like the open patterns. Also, if you have the power make the straps not black for future builds.
I never understood why camo or brown is never used in stands or anything. I assume it's a price issue.I agree...it's very easy for me to spot black straps on hang ons, and stack steps wrapped around a tree trunk from aways off.
We talked with the guys from Predator at the ATA show this year and I have some sample fabrics on the way. I am traveling at the moment but thinking they should be there when I get back on Monday. We are looking at softer quieter fabric for the outside while keeping the strong cordura on the inside. Currently I am working with some webbing that is "coyote" in color.

What is a core program? I'm thinking that you mean a way to apply new fabric to an old Aero. That would be pretty sweet. So far it's the only thing I dislike. I only used the saddle twice last season. Maybe you guys can consider a core program to an updated saddle or something
I have had some hunters tell me the same thing about no need for a camo pattern as well. From a marketing standpoint I feel that a well known camo pattern that is proven to work would be desirable. Right now we use 1000D (denier) cordura which is stiffer and not as compressible. I can look at 500D cordura which is still strong but softer and will compress better. The camo material we will be getting samples of will be something softer and quieter.
I wonder if he's talking about a core charge exchange program like on batteries. A way to trade in your old saddle on an upgrade. What is a core program? I'm thinking that you mean a way to apply new fabric to an old Aero.
That must be it. There is nothing we would be able to do with an old Aero except to study the wear. We were lucky to be able to find a way to adapt the new seat to the first generation Aero. That being said, the new proto we are working with is so much less material that it will be more compressible and hit a better price point.I wonder if he's talking about a core charge exchange program like on batteries. It would be nice if we could easily remove the leg straps with a buckle that will easily open. That way we can add or subtract clothing easily while in the tree. A lighter material would be great. That must be it. There is nothing we would be able to do with an old Aero except to study the wear. While your at the changes add a spot under the seat where we can add a fork like the guidos web. That would make it super comfortable. Or a kickstand which was described last fallThat must be it.
