2017 Maverick II 63@27"
I have a halon 6. Have you had any tuning issues? I can’t keep mine tuned.Halon 6 @70lbs. Its about as heavy as a boat anchor, but I am horribly tough on gear and its bullerproof....
Mine was acting up until I put new strings and cables on it. The top hat system is kinda a pain compared to yoke tuning though.I have a halon 6. Have you had any tuning issues? I can’t keep mine tuned.
The authority was a gem of a budget bow. Mathews sold the cam to Bear. I wish I had bought one when they quit making them and we clearanced them out. I could have got the kit for under $200, brand new

Yea it is! I love Mathews bows but I’m about to get something else until they do away with the top hat tuning. I don’t have a press and the two local shops don’t know how to swap them. If it would stay in tune it wouldn’t bother me but I finally got it right last year after months of frustration. Then this year I put new strings on and it’s doing it again.Mine was acting up until I put new strings and cables on it. The top hat system is kinda a pain compared to yoke tuning though.

The elite kure looks interesting for tuning without a press. Although I have a elite ritual and I just don't trust it in the woods. I'm not the gentlest with my gear. All the new bows are nice, but I couldn't find enough of a reason to shell out a grand or more. I know guys taking 150"+ bucks with 10 year old bows.Still using the Bowtech Realm I got last year.
What would get you guys to buy a new bow? For whatever reason, I have no desire to buy a new one ever, but you basically need to convince me not to buy a new gun.
To me, what I have is already super smooth and easy to shoot. The only things that would get me to upgrade is significant speed increase (for my short DL) without impacting shootability, or something that makes it easier to work on and tune the bow. The only other bow I'd want is some sort of trad bow.
I’ve been looking at the elite ritual also. Did you have any issues tuning it? I don’t like the idea of the cable guard tuning. Why don’t you trust it? Would you recommend them? The elite kure looks interesting for tuning without a press. Although I have a elite ritual and I just don't trust it in the woods. I'm not the gentlest with my gear. Long draw really limits your selection!!!! I shot a pse vendetta for years & killed a ton of w/it.PSE vendetta. Bought it used and love it. Of course not many choices when your draw leangth is 32.5" . Upgraded about 5 years ago from an old 1990 hoyt rocket. Shot that thing for about 25 yrs. Was amazed at the difference in the advancement of the bow technology.
How do you like the ritual? Any issues? Would you recommend them? Was it tough to tune?Elite Ritual 30, 28 in @ 64 lbs
