I wanted see if any of the people that sew their own saddles would charge me to make a sitdrag but with seatbelt/2” rated webbing.

Buy the material, pin it all together and go to an upholstery shop and have them sew it up

The shop here closed he would have done it for $20ish if you provided the material.

Yep there was a few trials in there. I never found one more comfortable than the Sitdrag. Couldn’t get the shape right.
I got a sitdrag and Ernie was making the lineman belts back then. I wrapped it in the battle belt and rode it out. I’ve been very happy and quit looking. I won the kestrel at saddleplooza in 2018 and have been using it and the sitdrag since.
Before Aerohunter made hunting saddles there wasn’t much out there but Anderson slings, trophyline and home made. Now days there’s great selection from MFG. most everything was DIY, sticks , saddles, ropes, it was clearly different than today. We have it good.

I wasn’t trying to be offensive with the newbee joke so I hope you didn’t take it that way.
