Tethrd One Climbing Sticks

Auto repair shops are literally "gluing" unibodies as opposed to welding. 300lbs aint chit, regardless of perceived flex. I trust it more than a 1/4" bolt.

Add in what looks to me a giant shear pin, and I'd buy you set of sticks of your choice if you break these under normal use..
Nailed it.

I think to keep in line with the rules, I can't answer questions here. So if anyone has any questions, please post them in the vendor only section. I don't want to break the rules.

I just think you need to change your signature now from just regular "climbing sticks" :tearsofjoy:

Rules? saddle hunters are rule breakers...Back to the tree, nope I like to admire the bark. Tree stand, nah I'm good until someone makes one you can stash in your pocket. Safety harness that you can still die in once it saves you from a fall, uh yeah no thanks, ill use a harness that keeps me from falling and worst case lets me self rescue with ease and not hang from a strap on my back. Traditional ways to up a tree, okay fine, on occasion, but make it defy gravity, your getting pretty close.

...I wasn't planning to try one sticking but maybe now. good work fellas.

@g2outdoors is talking about the actual site rules. Vendors cannot post things about their products outside of the vendor sections on the forum.

I'm betting if they have a cam cleat option in mind, it'll have a much bigger step on the top, of similar construction to the standoff. And since you only need one, it'll be closer to $199.

I would buy a one stick version. I am getting used to carrying and using one stick. I don’t want to fiddle with multiple sticks anymore

Carl is in love with one sticking as well. He and I hunted together in NoDak quite a bit after he tagged out early.

He is just as fast, if not faster, than 3 sticks with aiders. Granted... I'm short, so it takes me longer and I strive for quiet not speed, but he showed me that one sticking is a viable option for sure.

The deep woods is gonna be crowded now with all this light gear! In 3 years we'll be watching YouTube videos about overlooked areas on access paths 60 yards from the parking lot.
There's been articles out in hunting mags for years about parking lot bucks

I wonder if a small grade 8 (or higher) bolt would be better instead of the roll pin? I did just read some interesting stuff where titanium contacting aluminum can cause the aluminum to corrode. I hope that isn't a factor here (or is very mild if it is).
Any metals that are relatively separate on the galvanic scale will have trouble with pitting and corrosion (for example steel and aluminum). This is more of an issue in a seawater setting where saltwater and sand can get in between the materials and activate the galvanic corrosion. Things like anodizing the aluminum will mitigate this significantly. Also washing down the equipment with fresh water helps.

Ford Trucks have that issue. They just use tape or coating between dissimilar metals. I expect Tethrd looked after that.

I am big on the CAYG aider. I don’t see how these will allow its use given inspecting all pics.

thoughts?

edit

there isn’t much to grab a webbing loop hung on the top
