So I’m hoping to start filming some fishing and hunting in 2021! I’ve got a group of guys that are pretty successful on the water and in the woods.
I’m looking for recommendations for camera stuff, etc....

Also, I was curious if anyone wanted to help me brainstorm a good name for the channel. I have a list of a handful of names that I could possible share to see what others think?

Last but not least, I would like to do some Muskie fishing/deer hunting out of state this year. I’m from NY and considered neighboring states or so....Any leads would be super helpful. Feel free to DM me if you don’t want to post about them.

Hate em or like em. The Ranch Fairy. The name is genius! Why? Well, Troy actually is a smart guy and knew that he would be easily found if he had an unusual and contrasting name. I am also creating a YT channel but will be mainly focused on gear reviews, but not that BS “hey guys!!” or the ole “what’s going guys, its....” . Just good informative videos. What makes a good channel is this.......either you create very good entertainment or you offer very useful information. Always think of it like a product you’re trying to sell. Sadly this is what YT has become but to be successful this will be a great mindset. I am from Canada and know a couple fellas and gals here that have huge channels in the outdoor YT world. It’s interesting to hear their take on how they succeed. Hopefully this helps.

What's you angle gonna be? Like Canuck said, there is lots of content out there. Lots of videos of people killing deer and catching fish. Educational? entertainment? Or just sharing your love of the sport?
Just curious.

Are you going to make a full out production like Donnie Vincent? I am always hankering for high quality videos with a good story! Behind the Bow, burying the hatchet videos were incredible Too!

Something like that would be awesome! I’ll have a lot to learn with editing, so it may be a slow process...but I’m hoping a friend of mine is willing to help with that part!
