At this point what is original? Someone tell me right now where I can have a platform cast and I’m in the game too. I’d love to invest some cash I’ve been sitting on.

That angle is nice. Also, hopefully the QC will be on point and they break less often compared to some others. And maybe they are a little lighter for the same size.
I guess the moral of the story is do not have the same overhead platform outline as another company, or get wrecked.
All platforms either use a post and a folding design (copying elements from all hang on stands, but minus the cables) with a strap and some type of button....or they are a cam over design like OOAL (which I don't like). Other platforms that are basically the same style (post, folding, versabutton) but aren't getting heat just have a different top down outline of the platform and an innovative place to stick your toes for grip on a rotating shot. Before the Predator, I believe there were Lone Wolf versions with the same post/fold design and also people were making them out of Lone Wolf seats.
I'm not sure what people are expecting. It's like complaining about a new suspender company like "I can't believe they are wanting to attach adjustable elastic to pants ?!? Very derivative." Saddle platform design is not an industry where you should expect to see a lot of innovation....compared to electronics, etc. The next quantum leaps I see are borrowing tech from the climbing industry (forging, heat treating, etc) to make truly strong and light things out of aluminum or other metals (instead of all these castings).
If this platform doesn't crack as often and is the same weight or lighter than the Predator, then it will be a better stand for those that want an angled front (which many people here like, it is often advocated to adjust your Predator angle down to achieve this).
You should maybe sell everything else you have bought as a consumer and send a cease and desist order to every Asian country, especially China. If that's the case, I'm glad I sold my cruzr saddle, and they won't be getting a dime from me moving forward.

Really I could give 2 craps. If Tethrd wants to sue him go for it. However, this same exact business model has been in play for quite a while. Like I said, if you are so friggin offended, you better round up most of the stuff you own and crap can it, then find the company that made the original and make amends.Again, knowingly turning a blind eye.
Come on down from your 10k foot flyover, and look at the saddle market. It's like he found a USB with their God damn CAD file on it.
Perfect comparison. Hope some of you guys don't own any ARs unless they were manufactured by Armalite. I'll edit and also add, the One stick looks strikingly similar to another design.....just sayin'.Aren't there only a very limited few companies that cast the ar-15 lower? Then people buy the casting and make it "theirs"...?
The cruzr looks better. The V in the center, to help standing off the corner. And the angled front for more comfortable leaning.
I really only check SH anymore for Kyle's sagely nuggets. Again, he doesn't disappointwhy are there 100 soft drink flavors? It’s sugar, in water. There’s no material difference in the flavors when you really think about it. What’s more valuable - their brand or their recipe?
So... Who made the first saddle? There all getting rich off someone's original design. I can't believe this. You guys all need to sell your saddles. Oh. And your bows because who ever made the first one has had all his ideas stolen. And your guns because there all knock offs of the original ones made.
Maybe this will help, or you could try opening your eyes? The hyperbole in this thread is honestly disappointing. So very few people give a **** about right and wrong, let alone IP.
I haven't once argued that legally something is fishy. Just look at the God damn thing and tell me if you had spent hours in CAD designing the predator, this wouldn't bug you.
