Beast stick attachment methods beside buckles

I have been using beast sticks for a few seasons now and absolutely love them. I don’t mind the buckles but it would be nice to lighten things up.

I’d love an attachment like the tethrd sticks. I have tried the daisy chain webbing and didn’t care for it all. The attachment loop was never in the right spot and there ended up being a lot of slack and the stick had to be pulled down a long ways. I have never tried the daisy chain amsteel as I assumed it would have the same issue as the webbing.

Any suggestions on other methods you guys like?

USAs are pretty great... I'll agree... I typically end up using them more like typical amsteel rope mods but if I wanna crank them down, it's a great option

I use the older version of that. Just has the prussic. But I use it with a cam cleat. I use the prussic to back up the cam cleat. I have the cam cleat so I can attach fast... works slick for me.

Zero one nailed it already. The daisy chain you already have is the best attachment I've ever used when truckers hitched. It is by far the tightest method to attach sticks to a tree. Once you set a trucker hitched beast stick, there is no feasible way short of catastrophic stick or amsteel failure for it to kick out. I will not ever use another method on those sticks

I don’t have the daisy chain amsteel. I have the wedding versa strap type version. Looks interesting though. I’m looking for easy and secure. Looks like a few steps but pretty easy to do

Try Amsteel daisy chains. Go with the smallest loops offered - will minimize the amount of sag when setting the stick. Amsteel daisy chains are quite a bit better than Amsteel daisy webbing.

This. When using a truckers hitch the daisy chain doesn't need to have loops that can pass over the button, just need to be big enough to pass the tag end through. Truckers hitch is where it's at. (Says the guy that's been using a rope mod one stick and ocb strap ROS almost exclusively this year lol)

Trucker hitch with Amsteel daisy chains is the best attachment method I have found. The only drawback for me is it does take a little fiddle factor when taking the stick off the tree, which only really affects me late season when it is really cold.
