I have been gone for a few weeks. I was involved in a car accident last June and recently found out I probably won’t be able to return to my job. So with that I be adding stuff to the classifieds trying to save for a possible loss of job in June. Yep, I spent the big bucks to join.
To answer the question, I have not bought a Canyon Pounder but it’s still bugs me. Thanks!

Hope you can find another job soon mate!

dang. sorry to hear about that. very supportive group around here so feel free to post for non saddle hunting advice or just to vent if you need to. i know i have. who knows, maybe someone knows something about an industry you could switch to or something. or maybe we can jsut share some words of support, thats helped me for sure.

Thanks everyone!
Besides the job I’m okay. It’s been super frustrating dealing with the workmen’s comp doctor. After a year they are still keeping treatment from me that may get me back to work. They took away any treatment that the provider said I had real injuries and then sent me to controlled offices. Plus, the doctor always wanted me on narcotics. If I’m high I have no issues.
However, with all that, I’m lucky to be alive and will figure out a new life soon. Just hard to think of being retired at 47 years old. That’s a lot of time in the woods…

Good luck getting everything straighted out! Better things ahead!

I thought I would bring this back. I am still out of work due to injury and things are tight financially. I have been five doctors in the last 5 days. I believe today’s doctor will report that I can not work due to my injury. That will retire me. I have been selling my stuff to make sure Christmas goes on for my kids but hopefully I can clear things up financially soon. 24 has to be better and right now it’s looking good. I need to hang on until September and then things will be real good. Happy holidays to you all!

Same to you. 23 definitely had it's share of suck. Life and mountains have one thing for sure in common, get up every day and put one foot in front of the other.

If you cannot work due to the accident file for disability. It takes a while but that is what it is for if you need it. If you still want to work access your abilities. Maybe start a small business. Jmho

Well things keep going. I was medically retired last Friday. Overall it’s a good thing but strange to think about not working at 47 years old. I still have a ton of legal junk to deal with but at least I have an answer. Thanks y’all!
