Tinkering with my saddle gear this morning and came up with this. Flipping my platform over and using it for a seat for ground hunting. I’m sure someone has thought of this but don’t know why it took me so long.

Forgot to mention, I got this idea from looking at the videos of guys making the Torges seats. Same concept. The seeker platform has that angled lip on the front but with the cushion on there it doesn’t even matter. Quick simple way to convert to hunting from the ground without bringing anything extra along.

This is brilliant @Wlog! Too bad I didn’t see this with more than 6 days left in the season. Will definitely be keeping this in mind for next season though. I tried sitting on my predator previously but the top standoff hurt. Never thought about flipping it and attaching it to the tree like that.

I’m always trying to come up with ways for things I take in the woods to be double duty so I can keep what I haul in and out to a minimum.
I’m finding that this year I’ve been hunting on the ground more than in the past. I hardly ever know exactly where I’m going to be when I leave the truck so this way I’m covered. If there are no trees at all I have an option for that also.

you're smarter than me @Wlog ! Great idea, I'm definitely trying this. I had been using my mission on the ground for turkey, I bet its a heck of a lot more comfortable like you show!

Used to do this once in a while when I still had my LWHC stand just using the seat portion. Same principle and worked great. Wish I still had the seat at least to do it again.
