    They're awesome! Mine are 16" sticks and I made 20" tubular webbing single step fixed aiders for 2 of them. My first stick has a fixed, two step aider tubular webbing aider (20" each step). I stand at 17' on the top stick and after putting platform on the tree I'm hunting around 19' or so. Total...

    It opens via velcro at the bottom. I flipped the entire thing upside down when I made my pack so the opening would be at the "top" and slid the cushion in. No need to pull any stitches. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk

    Not much sewing at all other than some added reinforcement stitching and attaching the straps. Sewing on the backpack straps I used was kind of a pain due to the thickness of all the materials combined, but nothing crazy.

    I used a 5.11 Covert Insert, but this one would probably have been less work for me! I would have had to cut the cushion a little smaller width wise. I bought the backpack straps and sewed them on directly into the insert for mine as it was only the bare insert that I started with.

I like to go with as little extras as possible, like packs that ride high on my shoulders, and give me options to re-configure easily if needed.
