    Ropeman 1

    Wow, I got into the saddle thing a year or two before it took off. At the time, I could buy a ropeman 1 for $27, but now, double that. Yikes.

    I shot a doe early season last year using a saddle with a summit lower platform. Pretty straight forward. However, I advise tying the bottom because I normally use stabilizer straps (best mod on a climber) from bottom to top, and w/o the top, you'll want to fasten the lower to the tree...
