    Saddle climber, what's available??

I’m not sure I understand what you mean by not lasting long in a true saddle setup. Unless I’m missing something, once you’re at hunting height, you’re either a leaner or a sitter or a combination of both. Am I missing a different element here?

Ya. I went ahead and ordered the 8x42 diamondbacks

Like I said earlier. I have thermal monoculars that are a couple of notches above even the Swarovski's. They do the finding. Once I have found the animal, its game over. So basically my Swaro budget is in the pulsars.

Saddle Hunting Pack Post - What defines "the best" Saddle Hunting Pack?

You probably need to build out your climbing system first. It will be much easier to find a specific pack once you know how you will be saddle hunting. You also need to decide if your gonna wear your saddle in or pack it in. I believe once you answer those questions, the answer will become a lot...

Fairly thick. I use a pulsar thermal. Mine cost about $2500. So it really finds deer that most people miss even with the best binos. There is no guess work with these bad boys.

I don’t doubt that I can invest in great glass. Unfortunately, that budget has already been allocated to my thermal which in my opinion makes even the Swarovski glass a few notches below due to what it does. So my main objective is finding the correct magnification. Even from the comments on...

My routine is unique. I use a thermal monocular to scan for deer. Once I locate a heat signal, that’s when I grab the binos. That’s kinda where I am in the process.

Ok. I’ve banged my head against this topic. 8x42 vs 10x42 I hunt in East Texas primarily. Brush hunting as some like to call it. There are pros and cons for both. What say you guys when it comes to binoculars in the saddle?

EWO UP one stick or the OOAL Slick Rick one stick

Isn’t the Big Bob the same as the slick Rick other than the folding lower part? Just curious why you prefer that one in particular. Thx.

EWO UP one stick or the OOAL Slick Rick one stick

I'm having trouble deciding between the 2 of these. I've watched countless videos and read numerous posts about the EWO one stick. The Slick Rick is fairly new so there isn't as much content to look at. Interested in feedback if there is any. Thanks

So you all stop asking. Muddy has patent pending on using cam cleat on stick

lol. You’re just now realizing entities do things to generate continual revenue? Why do you think you gotta buy a hunting license every year? Keep that cash rolling in.

    All Repelling??

If I was using multiple sticks, rappelling to me would be extra stuff to carry. Your already carrying the multiple sticks. Now you have to carry the rappel rope as well. FWIW, I currently 1-stick and rappel which is how I jumped into saddle hunting.
