Fish 190 days a year from a boat on the Mississippi/St Croix Rivers. Too cold to fish from a boat is -5F for me.
11.5# Walleye; 54# Flathead Catfish, 20# Channel Catfish, 16# Northern Pike, 50# MN State Record Big Mouth Buffalo Carp, 70# Sturgeon, the list goes on and on. Helping people catch their biggest fish for a few years now!
Always enjoyed the extremes found in the outdoors whether hunting or while fishing.
Blizzards to hail storms and everything in-between.
Been hunting deer since a young'n with gun.
First time hunting from a tree last year (2019). Started with a Summit Goliath Climber. Have a disability permit for poor shoulders which allows me the use of a crossbow in MN where I hunt. Ravin R10 crossbow with HHA Optimizer and Rifle Mounted Rangefinder shooting 398 FPS, Grim Reaper broadheads. Doe at 11 yrds and buck at 70 yds. All dead within seconds and 60 yds. My preference is always to shoot the bullseye or don't shoot at all. Have been a muzzleloader hunter strictly past 10 years for their accuracy over shotguns.
Enjoying prairie dog hunting the past several years. Built my first AR 5.56 this summer and started reloading ammo very recently.
Buddy of mine bought a saddle harness a few weeks ago; i never knew they existed. My interest is growing. At 6'6" and 285 LBS very few things are made to fit me. Saddlehunter has become daily reading material as i learn all about saddlehunting.
I hope to contribute as much as i take!
