    I got back in the tree, raised my teather about 6" above my head and lenghtend my bridge. Made a world of difference! Easier to move around the tree and more comfortable. Never hit my prusik either.

    Sounds like you are understanding correctly. I am using a kestrel flex kit. For size questions on the prusik. I will try the longer bridge and see if that helps.

    While practicing the weak side shot my prusik on my bridge hits my caribiner on my teather. I feel like in a hunting situation i will be going to the shot and not thinking about it, leading to loosening of my bridge. Is my bridge too short?
