    98% of the time, I just hunt off the top of my Ultimate One Stick... When I KNOW I'm going to sit more than four hours (very rare), I bring in a platform to pair off to the side with.

    Who's not using a pack and just pouching everything?

    90% of the time, unless I'm filming... I can carry everything I need for a hunt in my cargo pockets on my pants and an upper chest pocket on my shirt. Sometimes I'll grab a fanny pack if I really want to carry a lot of stuff. :)

    I can confidently say that the EWO Ultimate One Stick is the best option on the market now; even the newest offerings need to be altered in some fashion to get them in the same ballpark ... I like the looks of the Trophyline Wingman platform coming out, but even it’s going to require replacing...

    Yep, full bury will solve your problems... I used Luke Dautel's 3/8" full-bury rope he supplies to DanO all season and it works like a charm.

    Cobra buckle tag end

    Another option is to fold it really small a couple times, put super glue between the folds and hold it in place with a pair of vise grips. Has worked awesome for me.

    All my excess tether/rappel line goes in my dump pouch by my side while I'm hunting, as someone mentioned above.

    Thorough video review of Tethrd One sticks...

    I have been told that they are using the manufacturing delay to retool the pegs for an easier fit so that shouldn't be an issue with the ones that are released for sale to the general public, whenever that is.
