    Cut off the pieces that connects the 2 legs and the expanded metal on the bottom would be the only thing I do to it, may knock a lbs off it

    I've been using prusik knots in my lifelines and tethers for years so it's like 2nd nature for me, I've never seen these mechanical ascenders until a few months ago , he'll never heard of saddle hunting until basically then also .. But I wanna soak up all the info I can before I dive into this...
