    Help a novice here. So if I use 6" bolts on private ground presets I can just use my cordless drill. Drill 2 1/2" deep. What size bit for the 3/8-16 6" bolts. Use hex head socket to install? Slight downward angle. 4 and 8 o'clock best for climbing. Am I missing anything?

    I'm just getting comfortable with my new saddle gear and have recently purchased a longbow after several years of crossbow hunting. My goal is to be competent and confident with my gear by next hunting season. I'm going to work on putting several preset locations up this winter on my own land...

    Wild edge users

    Is anybody concerned about deer seeing and spooking away from the WE steps. They seem very prominent to me when I see pictures of them on the tree. The straps I'm talking about in particular- not the steps themselves.
