    I am 5'11" 260. And somehow wear it well actually. This saddle is pretty good. I have had it for about two months. I have hunted every weekend in this thing. and I must say, I like it.     So, what would the advantage be to using a specific strap vs. just girth hitching your teather around the sticks and tying a couple overhand knots on the other side? I am just asking because that is what I have been doing, but I am always looking for ways to improve.
