    Tiny bit at first if you stick your nose right to them...dont do that. Lol. Really doesn't smell much. Can use them in a box blind to keep wasps out. Or put in a electrical panel or box to keep ants out.

    Your other option is put a red lens in a flip up scope cap and affix that to the headlamp. It won't be as bright as the white light was or if a true red led was used with same lumen output...but then you get all the same brightness settings as the white light and white and red light with the...

    Nitecore hc50....i got it just for the good red led lights. Way better than many of the other red leds out there that are not a dedicated red light. The red actually has good throw and spread. https://flashlight.nitecore.com/product/hc50

    Use a cattle ear tag that is infused with insecticide. Slow release. Lasts a long time. Works great. Relatively cheap. Can get them at tractor supply.
