    How did you fasten the one side to the step? I tied a over hand knot just to see how the stretch was when camming over step seemed to hold well but would want to trust in that well using for hunting

    So has anyone tried replacing the WE ropes with mule tape? I was thinking of how to loose the bulky ropes and get something with less bulk only problem is mile tape can't be spliced that I know of and will have to have a knot made to attach on one side but the same pattern for the WE knot works...

    Took a trip to do some pre saddlepalozza scouting as of now the water is level is up and pig sign is everywhere! Didn't see any pigs but was able to take me a doe for the freezer Saturday evening

    Just a FYI if you plan on using a boat make sure it has a outboard or a trolling motor if you plan on using water access the river is tidal and the current gets pretty strong!     I run 8 wildedge stepps and I use a one step movable aider and love it! Put one step waist high and the other as high as I can reach. I used a flat strap tether from the hunter safety system vest I had laying around with a climbing rated carabiner as my aider

    Man wish I knew some local saddle hunters last year in North Georgia! I was living in Canton and would on loved to meet up with some of y'all! I'm planning on making a trip back up during season to hunt some public land again maybe we can all meet up sometime.
