    Hawk suction cup, peg replacement

    I originally broke mine too. When I was sent replacement parts for free I used a razor blade to slightly shave the inside ridge off of the female cup and no more issue. They hold together great now and come apart easily and quietly.

    I just purchased the alps traverse eps for this exact reason. It straps my 4 hawk minis (2 on each side) and predator in the middle perfectly. The frame is comfortable and for a bigger pack its stays small if I want it to. I did not like anything without a frame that I tried before this pack.

    Im not sure, Ive only owned the minis but perhaps someone else can comment that has them. I'd assume if they were the same cups its possible its the same problem. again thought, thats just a guess

    Make sure you shave down the suction cups before you connect them all. There are some threads on this. Long story short got mine a couple weeks ago and they were near impossible to get apart, broke several of the suction cup inserts pulling apart. Mack's sent me new ones, trimmed the inner cups...
