    Grigri vs Madrock Safeguard

    I've read that the grigri isn't recommended for height work? Petzl recommends the ID s. The ID is more expensive. Anyone have experience with the ID?

    Amsteel as attachment method -- Safety info?

    Amsteel is pretty amazing stuff. I have been using it for years with my camping hammock. I have 2 whoopie slings on each end to adjust the hang length. They don't slip for that application even when they get wet. I just made my own daisy chains, but I haven't tested them yet. Hopefully...

    DRT climbing

    When using DRT, is it better to switch to a tether while hunting? If the limb, where your rope passes over, is higher in the tree, does it tend to get in the way of handling a bow? It seems that a lower tether mount gives more room for handling the bow. Also, are there any safety differences...
