    Finally tracked one down, well 6 or 7. Moved in to about 70 yards from the roost in the dark. They were drumming in the tree 45 minutes before gobble light. One subordinate tom pitched down first, followed by two hens, then the 5 dominate toms. Almost immediately after the dominant birds...

    Standard, small, micro?

    Standards for me, have wanted to try a micro but never really got around to it. Gold tip warriors are dirt cheap and fairly light GPI if you're worried about FOC. Built up some 600 spine target arrows and plan on setting up a set of 500's for hunting if my bow will tune em.

    Sometimes you're the hammer, sometimes your the nail, and sometimes the hammer fortnight dances over your dead body. These ***hats weren't 15 yards off the road on the neighboring property that I have access to. As you can tell by the bird with his head up and mouth open, it got hot quick today.

    Man I have to keep reminding myself not to force a shot. I struggle cause if one is in gun range I think I just HAVE to kill him then and there. Usually doesn't end up well for me.

    Listened to some birds on the roost this morning. 3rd time if found them roosted in the same spot this spring. Hopefully they roost there again tonight. Youth opener tomorrow for my daughter. Hoping she can be still enough as well lol

    If oklahoma ever had a good snow during rifle season I would LOVE to attempt tracking. Doesn't even have to be a big buck, I'd take tracking a doe group.

    I just bought an insta360 x2. Will report (hopefully with footage) after turkey season. Mostly bought as a no BS, zero movement way to film my turkey hunts as well as my try to capture my daughter's first turkey.
