    Who's going out on opening days and had you have success in the past? Tips?

    I’ll be out the first three days of Maryland. My wife and I take our camper down every year and hunt public. We seem to always get on deer and have been successful, but I’ve done a lot more scouting this year really hoping it pays off.

    ground venison- your preferred type/% for added fat?

    I typically use pork or pork trim because I can’t find beef tallow. Where are you guys getting it? Straight from a butcher?

    Saw a spike and two fawns tonight. Going try to hunt in the morning. I don’t really want to go mess one of my good spots up so I’m going to just sneak on a oak flat, that I normally don’t and see what happens.
