    I have a DOS myself. I like the platform vent gap idea for easy access and I will have to give that a try. I am also all about minimizing gear & ultra light hunting. However, if you hunt out west much you realize a frame pack with hip belt that's ~2 lbs heavier will be much more comfortable...
