    Ll bean merino wool commando sweater ( bomb proof compared to all the hunting brands). I also use a weathered carhart olive heavy hoody. That hoody has almost become a superstitious thing at this point. Meriwool base layers but obviously those are not outer wear.

    Just got mine the other day. Glad to hear your solid long term review of them. They seem well built and well designed. If they are as good as you say and they cost $25 and they last 10+ years, then that’s about as good as a deal gets. I’m not sure I have any gear that has lasted 5 years.

    Folks who have tried the bicycle cart option... any issues with weight load? The model I’m looking at says 110lbs, which is a tiny deer in my neck of the woods. Is this the sort of thing that probably can handle 300 lbs, but they are being super conservative?
