Climb up with rappel rope as tether? What do you do with the tail end?

I hate stuff hanging on my saddle. I've tried but I just don't like it. I also don't like my rope hanging from the tree to the ground while I'm hunting. I like to be neat so I have these (4"X 6" ?) bags from Hidden Woodsman that I keep my stuff in, in my pack. One of these have my repel rope...

    Giving it another try

I also have the Transformer that is a two panel. I'm 5'10" and weigh 240. My transformer is my most comfortable saddle. I separate the panels by about 5" so I'm sitting on one panel and the other is around my waist. Very comfy!

I don't know why they do it but varmint's like to chew on stuff. I put an electric dog fence in my yard extending into woods. The wood area I put the wire on the ground and covered it with leaves. Some animal chewed through the wire several times. I found in the lawn area they dug the wire up...

In the market for a new saddle

The Mantis is the only saddle I've sold. I have the Kite, the Kestrel, the Merlin and the Overwatch Transformer. I love my Kite and Kestrel but to be honest really never gave the other two a fair shake until yesterday. Yesterday I pulled out the transformer and wow! I've never sat in a saddle...

    Sometimes I wonder about myself?

LOL today I did get out my one stick and I have to say I think the Transformer makes it easier to one stick.

    Sometimes I wonder about myself?

Today I decided to make a learning tree. My thought was to have a tree behind the house, clean it up, clean up around it and bring my stuff out and revisit. I was playing with my WE Stepps and something popped into my head. I watched an Eberhart video where he said two panel saddles are more...
