    Looking for durable pants

What he said. I've used the same pair for 4 years and have only a small hole. Burrs really don't stick and the ones that do are easy to pick off. Good pockets too, minus the velcro.

True Timber late season 50% off

I've never ordered or used their stuff until I came across this sale and decided to try some cheaper puffy clothes. Bass Pro sells their stuff, but I think it's a different line. Not sure how long the sale is or the quality of their products. We'll see later this week...

    Wiggy's ground pad questions

Does anyone use a Wiggy's ground pad? I'm looking for one for a cot and the weight isn't an issue. I've been happy with the other items from them so far. I'm looking more at the luxurious ground pad, it's only $25 more. There's not too much out there for reviews and Jerry was Jerry when I...

    Weather wool

I don't own any, but I recently learned of them and the all around jacket is on my list for next year. I've watched a handful of videos from Weatherwool and some other reviews on YouTube. It seems like the highest end wool clothing made for hunting. I thought Sleeping Indian and King of the...

    Minimalist Flexible Boot Thread

I have the original Boulders in a 10 and they fit great. I picked up the Outlanders in 10, per their sizing guide and they are considerably tighter. Given these new Boulders have the Outlanders base/soles, sizing up might not be a bad idea. These new ones seem like they could be a perfect mesh...

    Minimalist Flexible Boot Thread

I just got an email from them saying they're supposed to be coming out with a new version with the same tread as their outlander boot soon. The boulders are one of the most comfortable boots I've owned, but the tread is not great.

Modifications to First Gen JX3 Hybrid

Congrats on the baby, it's as awesome as you can make it! I just dug this out after reading about your incoming dependant to tell you that now you'll have even more pack options. Of course you're already on it. I got this a few years back used for $100 and now it's time to see what I can make...

    Hickory Creek Koolaid

Did you ever get this straightened out? My 125 grain field points are shooting good groups from 20 to 50 yards. When I use the same arrow(s) with the 125 broadheads I'm getting about 7" left and 4" low at only 20 yards. If I put the field points back on, I'm hitting center again. I tried...

    JX3 Hybrid Pack System Trial

I still have the pack. I can ship first thing Monday morning if it's okay with Kyle.

    Anyone on the wool train?

I recently picked up some King of the mountain pants on ebay and wanted to clean /revitalize them. Anyone have recommendations for unscented wool detergent with lanolin for the washing machine? KOTM website just says cold water and no mention of detergent type.
