    Climb up with rappel rope as tether? What do you do with the tail end?

    Hangs down while climbing, I have my bow and backpack tied to the end. Once up I stash the extra rope in side pouch of the backpack. Notably the end of the rope remains free, so if I slip off the platform/stand I can pull the rope out and rappel down.

    Two different things if water is absorbed between fibers and if it is absorbed in the molecules. Water absorbed by nylon in the molecule structure doesn't come out by squeezing. PE can't bond the water so anything inside Oplux is free to flow out.
