    Friend moved to Florida and I lost my favorite private land spot Been hunting Stid Hill Multiple use area... let the same spike pass several times and usually tons of deer in road on way home... About it.. what part of NY you at? Thanks for the welcome!!

    It was tied at end with carabiner loading knot... was all wrong, that was the last prussic in my rig. It's gone now got a closed loop 10mm but it is on my secondary linemans belt which is 11.5mm rope.. only used as a holder while going over branches.. my bridges are now 11.5mm 24strand like my...

    I actually use a full body harness tied into bridge and sitdrag.. in case I want to sit one of my hang on stands.. but I still like the saddle idea so I sit on stand with both.. lol

    Oh yeah I left out the harness part.. by the weeks end I will not use them as my new real saddle will arrive tomorrow... sit-drag with harness, but it was still the knot that I tied that failed... now using a closed loop prussic thanks to you guys here..!!

    I made elastic holder strips and I just leave them on while hunting.. first pair had solid webbing around knee and put legs to sleep.. not good at 20-30' .. lol.. just don't use elastic or plastic clips on the load bearing straps
