    Thank you for the reply. What do you do when the tree is leaning? Do you setup on the side that is leaning toward you or the side that is leaning away from you?

    I did some testing with my new kestrel and found that it is cutting into the back of my legs. It seems that the lower tether and shorter bridge may help this. Any thoughts? There were some comments about posting their findings, but no one has posted any. :)

    I agree it does seem pretty simple, but why not use the lineman's belt to get onto the platform? I guess you would fall further with the lineman's belt than with the tether if something were to happen.

    I have seen several posts that discuss transitioning from climbing up the tree with sticks to getting on the platform. Apparently, it is recommend to attach the tether to the tree and to the bridge of the harness before stepping onto the platform. Does anyone have a video of this transition...
