That was important to me. I got my foot sprained and if you had it once, it‘s more likely to happen again. I chose the Lowas because of their lacing system. It was easier for me to get them tide to support my ankle. The vibram soles on the Meindls and Lowa i had are a class of it own. I like...

I had this boot or a previous model jears ago. Bought it for my first Gams-hunt in Slovenia. It is a bit wider on the heel than other Meindl models, i think. After years using different Meindls i switched to Lowa Ticam GTX and went hunting Gams in Austria. My absolute favorite boots so far.

    Not a Gun Guy…

Nice patterns. I would go with the eld x, cause i know the rounds work well.

Well, if there are concerns of not knowing, what holds the installed girth hitch up, you can put my ear-shaped rings on a piece of bungee-cord, wrap it once around the tree, put an overhand, wrap it twice ang close it. I prefer putting the ears in in 4 and 8 o'clock position and i can pull up...

You can climb with any method, you are familiar with. Seems you‘re not happy with your stick-method. There is this JRB-method, climbing on multiple saddlehunter hitches and a Garda-footloop. A bit fiddely, but you truly climb on hanging ropes.

Come on, it’s the fun with crazy 3D-designs! The ears, CGM or my design, are big enough to pass an overhand, they’r metal-free and they say the tree is mine.

    CGM Preset Kit

Here is my favorite design of the "tree hugger". I just call them ears. They got 35° inclination against the tree, so threre ist a left and a right one. The lower portion got the shape of some kind of funnel to the rope and the top portion is broadened, so they allign propperly to any kind...

That chubby stump will cost me a round in the magazine without any advantage for me in sight.

Might be way better with the dynaglide you use. My experience with conventional acessory cord is worse. Wonder, of i can find it in Europe.

… but will not resist the pressure of the girth hitch. Better off with a piece wire or a fixed bolt. Flying Home tonight from Vegas. 12 hours time to think about this. The CGM Concept is brillant. I‘ll build something like that for me.

The CGM Rings look Like 3D printed, wich i do a lot. I am concerned about the cord cutting into the Ring. A deflection roller could be helpfull.

+1 You can find some concave shaped, the end of any sideloading discussion.

Found a Summit climber for cheap, might use it actually.

Forget about bending back the aluminum and go for the open shot. Or just take the platform. If the frame breaks, it will be under load of your body. And the torn ends of the frame will be sharp.
