    Kydex Stepp Holders

Yes, added to some camo silent strips to the kydex, made the stepps fit really snug. The wire pulls the top of them back towards the molly loops/belt. When climbing, the wire is off to the side and is easy to operate with one hand. I have the stepps mounted as close to my right hip as...

    Kydex Stepp Holders

Here is pic with the wire tie holding them in. Just use the molly loops and simply bend down as tight as you can just wrapping down and around back up on the outside. Have used this method at least a dozen times without any issue of them moving around while struggling through some tough...

    Kydex Stepp Holders

I was having the same issue, not only would they move, but was adding unneeded weight. I scratched the magnets and went with a large wire tie, about 24 inches. With that I was able to hold them securely and pretty easy to use in the tree. This was my method last season. I will add pics tomorrow

    Frequency of marathon saddle sessions

I almost always plan on 6+ hour hunts, shift positions for the later half. This year will be different, trying the minimalist approach. Previously was carrying a 30 pound rig plus another 15-20 pounds of gear, food, water. Was quite an effort to get into a tree without reaking of sweat...

No pin ...1 pin ...multi pin & more - What's your fancy?

As a newer archery hunter, all I am familiar with is the 4 pin sight that came with the bow. Reading this thread has really helped my understanding, now to choose between the EZV and a single pin set up... and of course practice. Will probably stay with current set up as it is getting close...
