    Predator XL Sleeve for Protection

It's the teeth on the sides that I am concerned about. I don't think this will help. Thanks though!

    Predator XL Sleeve for Protection

Hi all, I am running the Predator XL and pack it in/out with my Eberlestock X2 pack. Since the edges are pretty sharp on the XL, I was thinking about protecting my pack some from the sharp edges to avoid rips/tears... Anyone have something they use to protect their pack? Not the predator pack...

    Saddle and rock climbing harness

@mattsteg from a logic perspective, when you say "never", all I have to do is show a single failure where it has happened to prove you wrong. The main point with the double protection is that my life is more important than anything else. Sent from my Pixel 3a using Tapatalk

    Saddle and rock climbing harness

I'm thinking I will replace the bottom tether with my rappel rope and just keep the excess rappel rope in my book bag. Sent from my Pixel 3a using Tapatalk

    Saddle and rock climbing harness

Today, I tied a second shorter tether below my main tether and tied an autoblock to my personal anchor system which was girth hitched to my rock climbing harness. I use the personal anchor system for rappelling. But one thing I really liked was the backup system AND when I attached my back...

    summit viper sd for climbing

During my lunch break, I climbed a tree with my summit viper. First, I removed all the padding and seat from my climber to make it lighter. I used sterling oplux 8mm rope as my tether with a kong duck ascender attached to my rock climbing harness. When I got to the top, I attached a second kong...

    summit viper sd for climbing

Haha. I wouldn't be but I just can't justify spending more $$$ before the season begins on climbing equipment. As we get into the season, I think I am going to take a hybrid between one sticking and multiple sticks with an aider. That is, I am going to purchase two beast sticks and a single step...

    summit viper sd for climbing

I don't think I'll be doing any mods like that. I'm just thinking of something I can put in front of me to help me pull up the climber. Kinda like a pull up bar.

    summit viper sd for climbing

Hi all, I have been trying out the one sticking method and I am just too sweaty when I get to the top... maybe later in the season I will be okay. In order to conserve some cash right now, I was thinking about using my tether along with my viper sd climber (bottom only) to get up the tree. I...

how to anchor to the tree before rappel

Trying to get into using sticks and rappelling down tree. How do you anchor your rope to the tree? I was thinking a figure 8 with a loop and a stopper to anchor the rope to the tree. Then I would use my ATC along with a VT Prusik. Thoughts?

    Aider steps with one stick

I am going to try the one stick climbing method. How many aider steps do you all use for one sticking? And why?
