The amsteel on the step was going to be my knaider, but the stick slipped...the aider with tubular webbing is so darn close to the tree it is extremely difficult to find on the way down (excuse that there isn't a rigid step in it...there will be if I go that route. I have one but...

    So I bought into the new LWCG stick packability - I saddle hunt so didn't care about the stand- but am having difficulty crating aiders for them. The way they all attach to the side made me abandon the 1 inch tubular webbing girth hitch (they would no longer for snugly when packing in and out)...

    Dumb question. Has anyone used the knaider/swaider method on LW sticks instead of stirrups? I always have problems getting my boots into the stirrups and would like to know your thoughts?
