Ok so here goes hopefully one or more of the amsteel/rope gurus will chime in and give their opinion. If I am missing something safety wise those ar ethe comments I'm really looking for. Two separate questions or ideas I'm proposing and looking for feed back on. Thanks in advance

Idea/issue #1
I have a fixed amsteel bridge on my mantis (factory original) that I really like with the exception of being able to disconnect it and stow it away for travel.
I currently have the adjustable rope bridge on my flex. I am not a fan of the rope bridge on the flex and am currently looking at replacing it. Its not really a weight thing for me but more of a bulk thing. Additionally I find myself leery of turning in my saddle and letting the rope slide do to fear of the carabiner causing the prussick to slide and at best scaring the crap out of me or worse causing a fall.
My thoughts at the moment are as seen in the photos below:
1. Girth hitch one end of the chain to the bridge loop and use a rated carabiner on the other to maintain the ability to remove and stow the bridge for long walks.

2. If I found the need to adjust the length of my bridge while in use I could just ease up on the tension and add a link so I would never be disconnected at anytime. The only sketchy part would be opening the carabiner to allow for the addition or subtraction of links as needed. I doubt I would adjust this much but like the ability. Especially like running a shorter bridge while using the hand climber then lengthening back to settle in for the hunt.

Idea/issue#2
I currently have been carrying 2 tethers with carabiners and ropemans. The reason being in the event of needing to cross limbs or the need for a back up tether for any reason (redundancy/climber failure/climber leash failure/positioning.etc etc).

My thoughts at the moment are as seen in the photos below for this as well.

1. Use amsteel daisy chain with carabiner to choke tree. Paying attention to side loading of the carabiner being the weakest link at this point.
2. Use separate carabiner to then find the best link based on elevation and connect link to bridge.
3. Move climbing tether to next position and then reconnect to bridge transferring load to rope tether and then unhooking and stowing the amsteel.

I'm not sure what daisy chained 1/4" amsteel is rated for but I'm pretty sure its a good bit higher than the typical climbing ropes with a ropeman attached. So lets hear the opinions. If I'm barking up the wrong tree chime in and let me know if it seems like a good idea I'm game for hearing that as well. I weighed everything separately and labeled the weights in the photos. Stay safe ladies and gents.
