This was my first sit since tagging out in KY back at the first of September and the weather couldn’t have been better. Went to a new farm that I have never hunted with a buddy here in TN. Instead of just setting up in a random tree spent a good two hours scouting looking for any sign at all and it payed off. Set up next to some supper thick nasty stuff with the wind in my face and decent trail in front of me with lots of old rubs from last year. The first 45 minutes in the tree I thought I had lost my release but finally saw where it had fallen out of bag when retrieving my feather. This guy showed up at 6:30 and after what seemed like 30 minutes (more like 3) he gave me the perfect broad side shot quartering away. Shot was a perfect double lung and he only went about 40 yards. New predator platform performed wonderfully. Yeah
